# Your Island

Your island on MegaBuild.de – your own server, a world that grows as you explore, and how to manage it.

Every island is **its own server**. Only you and members with the **Join** right can enter it. You can own an island yourself and also be a member on other players' islands.

## A world that grows with you

Your island has no fixed upgrade levels. Instead, **new islands appear around you as you explore.**

* **Starting island:** It sits in the middle, along with a few small side islands.
* **Grid:** The world is divided into cells of 220 × 220 blocks. Each cell has one main island and 2–3 small side islands, slightly offset and at different heights.
* **When islands appear:** On foot, cells up to 2 cells around you are generated. With an Elytra it's up to 4.
* **Biome regions:** Islands of the same biome lie in regions of about 880 × 880 blocks – that's around 16 main islands.
* **Only unlocked biomes:** Only biomes your island has unlocked are generated. A newly bought biome shows up especially often in the next regions.

## Managing your island

In the lobby, `/sky` opens the Skyblock menu. As the owner you'll find:

| Menu item | What you do there |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Join Island** | Travel to your island. If it isn't running, it gets started |
| **Management** | Change the server name (3–20 characters), server info, statistics, **Server löschen** (Delete server) |
| **Members** | Invite players and assign rights |
| **Statistics** | Your stats and leaderboards |
| **Shared Servers** | Islands you're a member of                                                                            |

On the island itself, `/sky` opens the island menu with quests, skill tree, members and statistics.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Deleting the server is permanent.** Your island and everything on it will be gone. The menu asks you to confirm first.
{% endhint %}

## Good to know

* **The starting biome stays.** It's set when you create the island and can't be changed.
* **One island of your own per player.** If you already have one, "Create Skyblock" opens the management menu directly.
* **Coming back:** If you were last on your own island, you land there again when you log in.
* **Fewer monsters:** Far fewer monsters spawn on the islands than in normal Minecraft.
